Katharyn Blair is an American author, screenwriter, and creator whose work spans young adult fiction, comics, and television. She gained notice as the novelist behind The Beckoning Shadow (2019), a fantasy about a teenage runaway with dangerous powers who enters a high-stakes tournament. In 2021, she published Unchosen, and in October 2024, her book The Hushed (A Haunt for Jackals) is scheduled for release. In television, she was a staff writer on Loki Season 2 (2023) and co-wrote episode 4, “Heart of the TVA" . In addition, she wrote a TVA comic series for Marvel. She served as executive story editor on Daredevil: Born Again (2024-) Before rising in publishing and television, Blair worked in various roles, including social media coordination for films at 20th Century Fox, interning in a city parks and recreation department, coaching gymnastics, and teaching writing at Azusa Pacific University. She lives outside Los Angeles with her family.
